Wolfram Security Services, LLC is a security company based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Commencing operations in August, 1980, Wolfram has grown to become one of the most reliable and trusted security companies in the greater Edmonton area, winning numerous awards in industry customer service. Wolfram is dedicated to providing the highest quality security systems and services to a variety of customers.
For the time being, Wolfram Security Services, LLC’s primary goal is to obtain a website that
reflects its current services offerings accordingly. By creating a website, Wolfram aims to further
expand its service offerings and ultimately attract new customers to the company, as current
marketing methods (Yellow Pages, word-of-mouth, etc) are proving to be ineffective.
This project is the development of a new, mobile-friendly/responsive website that seeks to reflect Wolfram Security Service's established website goals. This includes the prominent display of the company's existing visual identity, as well as the company's current service offerings, and ultimately convey a sense of reliability and level of trust to both new and returning customers.
For this project, the client was presented with an initial proposal, providing a general outline of the client's needs, as well as reccomended solutions and approaches, in addition to the establishment of a fee schedule and terms and conditions. Feedback gathered from the client was used to guide the initial research and development stage.
Initial research was conducted through the primary perfomance of a competitor analysis of existing security companies in the Greater Edmonton Area, as Wolfram Security Services does not have an existing website. Sitemaps from these competitors were analyzed and used to create a new sitemap for the company.
Wifreframe development began as a result of the initial research, in addition to general feedback from the client. Exploration was done to create a lead-generation website through the usage of various ui elements and methods on the home page, including bold imagery and calls to action.
High-Fidelity Mockups were created based on initial research and wireframe generation, making sure to reinforce the organization's own goals and needs. Mockups were supplimented with the creation of an element collage, outlining all of the major visual elements to be included in the final mockup.
